Relax and unwind in Child's pose

  Wanting a quick and easy way to relax at the end of the working day,  try Childs Pose from Yoga.  I started my yoga class tonight with the class particpants in this pose for a few minutes.  The effects were profund,  the mind is quietened,  and they physcial body is starting to relax, muscles sink and relax.  When I asked them to rise to seated, everyone looked very zoned out, was a pleasure to see  relaxed people.  

To make this comfortable, spread the legs,  arms out front, or forehead stacked on double fists.  You can use bolsters and cushions to make it comfortable.  Child's pose is very restorative to the adrenal glands. Adrenal glands produce our stress hormones,  adrenaline and cortisol.  Prevent adrenal fatigue with some restorative yoga,  good nutrition, and herbal support.
