Sun Salutations

 Are you struggling with the winter exercise, try 3-8 rounds of sun salutations each morning. If you don't know this yoga flow, come to a class or look out for my video to posted on you tube, my 10 year old son is going to set me up a channel. I will let you know by FB It is a great energizing flow , it is warming and will help to tone the muscles all over the body. It is a flow of 12 movements where we start standing, fold forward go down to cobra on the mat and back up to standing, once you have done it a few times you will get the hang of it. The great news is that you can do it in the warmth of your home. When doing several rounds of Sun Salutations it increases the heart rate, breath and metabolism. With some of my fellow classmates we have done a continuous practice of 27 rounds of sun salutes in approximately 35 minutes whilst listening to mantra. It is a really energizing experience, something when you are fit you may choose to do once a week or month, or maybe not. The good news it can be made assessable to most yogi’s with various modifications, I often include a cat cow flow for beginners, for more advanced yogi’s, plank and crane pose can be added.
