Move it or Lose it

Move it or you lose it, yoga is a gentle form of exercise, it has many beneficial actions on the physical body, mental and spiritual body. A series known as pawnamuktasna which I include in my classes is beneficial for feet, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, hands, and neck; these can assist with joint mobility and decrease stiffness. For best results they can be done 2-3x daily, regularly and frequently for stiff or arthritic joints. I had some feedback from a recent workshop Yoga for joints and inflammation, which I will share with you, Trevor 68, who went to your seminar said he felt the stretches were hard but he said afterwards over the next few days he felt his hips were much more mobile than ever. This series of yoga poses is suitable for all ages, it maybe done in chairs if needed. A regular home practice is most beneficial, it is best to know a few things well that you can learn at a regular class and then practiced at home. Listen to your body, know what joints are troublesome, where you experience pain and stiffness, we are all different, where do you hold your tension in your physical body?
