Testing for adrenal fatigue is best done thru Saliva Cortisol Testing. 4 saliva samples are taken during the day. Ideally levels of cortisol should be elevated in the morning when you wake and gradually decline thru the day, they should be low in the evening before bed when serotonin and melatonin are more dominant to promote sleep.  Testing from $159.

Vegetarian Eating

Cauliflower Casserole

This simpe to make Cauliflower casserole is a great favourite in my house, it is not overly cheesey and you get the lovely tumeric colour and flavour.  Sorry i don't have a photo to do it justice, you can share your images with me.

Start the day with homemade goodness

Homemade museli

1 cup of wholegrain oats

1 cup of fine cut oats

½ cup of coconut threads

½ cup of chopped almonds

1/3 cup of chia seeds

1/3 cup of sunflower seeds

1/3 cup of raisons

2 T honey and 2 T olive oil

 

Place all dry ingredients on a lined baking tray, except raisons.. Mix the oil and honey thru the dry ingredients. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes, add raisons. Store in air tight container. Serve with yoghurt...
